Traditional banking channels stall innovation due to regulation and fragmented ownership. This was what sparked the creation of the Verda Lab concept. A fintech lab can move faster, with shorter ideation cycles, rapid iteration and direct market testing.
After a deep dive into the industry landscape, we reached a central truth that formed the ethos of the brand identity – Verda Lab was created to contextualise issues, that is to say, that African realities require African solutions. From that idea the concept was born.
